Using Drones for wedding photography Using Drones for wedding photography - I know Drones + Cameras are becoming popular now and I hate be a killjoy but it is worth thinking about a few things. The images produced from using drones for wedding photography can be pretty spectacular (whether using stills photography or video) however before you book a photographer using drones for wedding photography or videography ask them these questions:
  1.  Are the operators of the drones fully trained in their use?
  2. Does the operator and / or the company have full personal indemnity and liability insurance in case anything goes wrong?
  3. Does the drone revert to a specific location if the operator looses line of sight / radio contact?
  4. Are the batteries all kept fully charged and are regularly changed?
  5. Will the operators be using Hi-Visibility vests when operating?
  6. What is the noise level from the drones?
  7. Can the drone be used safely AND legally at your wedding venue?
Some really good guidelines here. http://thenextweb.com/gadgets/2014/07/04/use-personal-drones-legally-beginners-guide/ I don't use drones but if your photographer / videographer does I'd suggest checking about insurance liability and legality issues to make sure they and you are covered.
