Great Tythe Barn Wedding Photography – Well, this was a different wedding for me in a few ways. Different as in it was my second mid-week wedding this week at two very different venues.
Yesterday’s wedding was at the lovely Cotswold venue – Great Tythe Barn, near Tetbury. Grade II listed 16th Century stone barn that looks amazing inside. The perfect choice for Rosie & Daniel intact.
I started at around 1230pm as it wasn’t a big wedding with a few detail and scene-setting photographs and moved onto the bridal prep which, as usual, was a calm and chaotic (at the same time) as every wedding!. The registrars for this service were great and the main one was my namesake – Andrew Miller. Very nicely thought about the photography side of things and made sure to step aside now and again when he didn’t have to be in the way, really appreciate that.
Confetti followed the main service closely followed by the “herding butterflies” of the group shots! I love them!! The family photographs followed and Rosie & Daniel along with a couple of bridesmaids went off for some more intimate photographs.
We did the ‘Bouquet Toss’ twice…first time mother of the groom caught it and as she was already married….second time a much better result with Elena, one of the bridesmaids, catching the bouquet – well done!
The speeches were…interesting! I’m sure if you know Rosie & Daniel you can ask them about one of the speeches had in fits of laughter anyway! More photographs, sunset (that didn’t quite work so we got cloudiest instead!) and first dance.
All in all a great day doing Great The Barn Wedding Photography
