It is always a bit daunting planning a wedding for the first time and meeting your wedding photographer. I prefer to meet at my local Marriott Hotel, which also has an excellent coffee bar, or I can come over to your home. Either way, it is a relaxed process.
I’m not going to talk you into something you don’t need or don’t want. I’m not going to hard sell or ask you to confirm on the day if you feel you both need the time to discuss things over.
All I am going to do is ask you about your wedding and show you may work. That’s all.
If you want to wait you can. If you want to say no – you can.
The important thing for me is to get to know you both a little bit – making sure we “click” in that hour or so’s first meeting is important. It gives some good indications we can get on for 18 hours on a hot summer day during your wedding. Or 18 hours on a cold winter day if you want. But getting on with people is THE most important aspect.
What happens if you don’t like me? You don’t book me.
What happens if I don’t like you? I turn down your booking. Don’t take it personally – it’s about making sure YOU find the perfect photographer for you, and if I’m not the one I’d prefer not to take your money. It’s not about the money – it’s about job satisfaction and customer service.
