Bristol Wedding Photography Styles - Your Choices

So, you’ve chosen a Bristol wedding photographer. Great. One job from the list of many, out of the way. But, wait. There are other important decisions you still have to make with regards to the photographs at your wedding

Bristol Wedding Photography Styles - Digital or Film

The first big decision is whether to choose conventional film for your photographs or the modern digital medium. The most commonly used method is digital, the benefit of which is that you will receive your pictures much quicker than with conventional film. Another plus is the fact that digital cameras are able to work in very low light - a particular advantage if you are having your wedding between afternoon and evening.

Using traditional film may be a little more restrictive and take a little longer to produce a finished product, but film creates pictures with a soft and elegantly organic quality. It may cost a little more, but when you get your pictures, you’ll know where your money went.

Styles

If you want pictures that are the break from the ‘norm’, then you can choose to look at it in a different way. Not all pictures need to be framed in the traditional manner, so giving your photographer artistic licence to provide something different can produce stunning results.

An experienced Bristol wedding photographer will have the skill to use light to create dramatic, romantic or even vintage effects. The choice is yours.

Venue

Another factor you need to consider is the location of your photographs. It’s always best to overestimate the space you will need, as you might be surprised just how much room is needed for a typical set of wedding photographs.

Also, make your location an uncluttered area, free from coffee cups, bins and anything you don’t want in your photographs. The peripheral mess can ruin the look of even the best-framed shots.

Make Your Thoughts known

So, if you have a particular preference or ideas for your wedding photographs, don’t forget to express your thoughts to your Bristol photographer. It will help them do their job better and ensure that you get just want you for your big day.
