Elyssia & John were married at the totally and absolutely amazing Tewksbury Abbey. And yes; I’m gushing with love for this church. It’s a totally amazing place to be married! The light was out of this world. I love church weddings; but this was a new experience for me.
The day started for me at 4am (yes – 4 in the morning) getting up, car packed and driving to Mum’s house to begin bridal prep. The service was at 1130hrs and with several bridesmaids, Bride and Mum needing to get ready you need to start early. It was totally worth it though. The brides prep went off without a hitch. Arrived at 5am to begin working with really fab professionals; Holly Power on makeup was sublime. Perfection in makeup! Her Facebook page – Holly Power Make Up Artist. During this bridal prep a “Starbucks Run” was carried out and it was a really nice thing for the crew in Starbucks to give the order as a gift and bespoke the cups :-) Well done to those guys.
My second photographer arrived at the guys for 10am and a barring few little mishaps on the way (I’m letting the world know now John…). So; who forgot that a second photographer was going to turn up for the grooms prep? Yup – the groom and party. Second knocked and the door was opened by the guys in their PJ’s!! Nice one fellas!!!
The question we all want to know is… who forgot the keys in the door? Good job my second photographer remembered where the house was and she nipped back to make sure the keys were safe and the house locked up! Which of the groomsmen forgot his cufflinks and his wallet and had to
The Greenway Hotel is a little gem hidden away near Cheltenham. Very much a boutique hotel, especially for weddings. The grounds give lots of scope for wedding photography of all kinds. The weather was, well – different. The bride, groom and I really wanted cloudy skies – and we got a mixture of cloud, blue sky, bright sunshine etc. Still – we made the best of it and managed to grab some amazing shots.
Anyway; enough of my wittering… more from Tewksbury Abbey Wedding Photography….
