St Pierre Marriott Wedding Photography
Chepstow Wedding Photographer Andrew Miller
Lyndsey and Paul were married at St. Pierre last Friday (26th February 2016) and what an amazing day it was.
The day for me started off bright and early with bridal starting at around 0800hrs in the quaint Rose Cottage. Lots of things to photograph and a selection is below; makeup and hair were being done, flower girls on iPads and iPhones, dress to be photographed, rings and shoes etc!! All the details of the wedding in fact.
The guys arrived at St. Pierre in swanky looking cars; apparently owned by one of the groomsmen. Deep blue suits, brown shoes – very hip gents!
The service itself was held in the ancient church on site – St. Peters. It has been in constant use since 1067; which isn;’t bad going really. I was squeezed up at the altar with Dave Powell on video. Father Julian White who took the service has to be one of THE characters in the Monmouth Diocese . Really great to work with and so helpful and caring towards making sure photography and video were able to our job. (Personal note – shame more vicars can’t be like him.)
The rest of the day was spent in and around St. Pierre itself. Onto the grounds of what I like to call a country park (it’s actually got two golf courses but they are so huge it’s easy to find space away from golfers).
Final shots of the evening were done just out side on the balcony level at St. Pierre Marriott Hotel & Country Club.
St Pierre Marriott Wedding Photography is one of the best things I like to do. I live only 10 minutes drive from this amazing wedding venue and and being the hotel’s preferred photographer for commercial / corporate photography gives me a unique insight into the nooks and crannies of this great venue.
