St Pierre Marriott Hotel Wedding | Sophia & Jonny’ wedding – I must be the luckiest wedding photographer in the world. I have the greatest couples who love the work I produce and when I ask will hitch up skirts and run across wet muddy golf courses for photographs, or climb through teeny tiny turrets to get very rare and exclusive wedding photographs!
Sophia & Jonny were one such amazing couple – thanks, guys!!!
Yes, the day started out miserable and damp and wet but it got better and better as the bridal prep went on. Being a St Pierre Marriot Hotel & Country Club wedding photographer I wasn’t overly concerned. This wedding venue has to be one of the best, of not the best in South Wales for when the weather is bad – lots of options for internal shots.
St Pierre Marriott Hotel Wedding
BUT… when the weather is kind it’s got the potential to be THE best wedding venue in South Wales hands down, and the weather was just kind enough to allow the four of us (Sophia, Jonny, Dad (using a Nikon!!! At my weddings – a NIKON!!?? ;-) ) and myself to grab some great frames. Some of you other photographers reading this may be surprised that I don’t mind people coming along with me. Why should I, especially VIP like Dads etc. It gives me a chance to help them out a bit more, share some tips and if I have the right triggers to allow them to get the same shot that I am. The couple are (have) bought me – bought my photography, so I’m not overly concerned.
From smoke grenades to moody skies to amazing dress shots, this wedding had it all form. I really loved it. Yes – even down to a large number of group photographs!!
As usual, a pre-wedding session is always in order and you can see some of Sophia and Jonny’s shots here. It’s a great way to plan what will happen if the weather is bad!
