Get the Wedding Photographer you want...

Get the Wedding Photographer you want -It is that time of year when the wedding season starts to calm down and the wedding fayre season starts to ramp up.  I have done 20 weddings this year and have 7 left before the end of the year as well as several portrait shots for Christmas presents.

One thing that I advise all my potential clients to do when they have first decided to get married is to get the magazines out, get on the internet and get to the wedding fayres.  Get as much information as you can before making a decision. However, you also need to be aware of those wedding services that get booked up well in advance:
  • Venue / church
  • Photographer
  • Cars
Everything else can be booked 7-8 months out. I have weddings booked for 2017 and 2018 and 2019 and at my last wedding faye (The Copthorne Hotel in Cardiff) I had to turn down three couples who loved my work and loved my albums as I was already booked.  One couple even said they had kept going back to my website to view the weddings I put on there and thought they could leave it until 6 months before to book me. Sorry guys but it pays to book early. One advantage of booking early (from their perspective at least) is that once you book the price is fixed. So in my case, the people booking now for 2017 and 2018 and beyond get 2016 prices. So, to avoid disappointment visit me at a wedding fayre and book a no-obligation appointment to chat more about your wedding. A deposit of £250 is all you need to confirm the date! Thanks, look forward to seeing you at some wedding fayres!
