Cardiff wedding photography 2016 prices
This is a shot blog to explain my Wedding Photographers Cardiff 2016 and beyond Prices.
One of my biggest costs as a business is the marketing I do. That includes wedding fayres, flyers, Google Facebook, Twitter etc. I spend a lot of money trying to reach out to clients so they can see my work and make a decision to book me.
My prices will rise by £125 across all my collections except my
Digital Collection. The price increase will come into force on the 1st March. (After my first three wedding fayes of 2016.)
I'd love it for couple to book me earlier in the process of planning their wedding.
Whats in it for YOU to book early?
- When you book the price is fixed. Book me in 2016 you get the 2016 prices not the 2017 or 2018 prices. I absorb any price differences between the albums costs etc. You could save potentially £350 just by booking well in advance.
- Booking in advance gives you a better idea of how much the wedding will cost in total and thus gives a target for saving. (I do offer a simple payment plan; if you are interested in this please click here.)
- Booking in advance means that f you really like my work and want me to photograph your wedding - you have me. I take bookings usually 18 months - 2 years in advance and in 2015 I took my first booking for a wedding in mid 2018. 2 1/2 years from their wedding.
- Booking in advance means you can take advantage of the special incentives I offer for booking in advance such as Guest Signing Books, my Customer for Life Club etc.
- Booking 18 months in advance means you get first access to the special sales I run during the year. These require you to pay the full balance from your wedding photography but you may also receive extra pages in your album, parents books, discounts on your balance etc. All this adds to up some excellent savings on your part.
- Booking in advance means I can reduce the cost of my marketing and thus keep my wedding collection prices reasonable.
What's in it for ME for YOU to book early?
This is my full time job. It pays my bills etc. I don't want to be an amazingly rich man (unless I win the lottery and even then I wouldn't be able to stop work with wedding bookings 2 1/2 years in the future!). I just want to earn enough to pay my bills, invest in professional equipment for my business and be able to afford to go out a few times a month.
So unlike many photographers who work to a number of weddings I work on an income level. Once I have enough wedding bookings to cover that income level (after I've paid all my business costs obviously) I stop taking bookings.
I will ONLY accept a booking after that if the venue is totally new to me, the wedding has a theme that I would find interesting or it's a destination wedding and I can afford the time to spend a few days either side of the wedding having a short break. Other than that the answer will be no to the booking. Even if you buy my Jaffa Cakes or Parma Violets.
