Bridal Equine Photography - Treasure The Dress

When Kate & Drew were married at Miskin Manor (Click here for Kate & Drew's Miskin Manor wedding photos) Kate asked if I would mind meeting up after the wedding and getting some shots her and her horse, with Kate wearing her wedding dress. I loved the idea and jumped at the chance!

Bridal Equine Photography isn't something I have done before but approached it just as I would any photography session - open minded and with an idea of what I wanted the mages to look like - big landscapes willed with dramatic skies and Kate & Harry taking centre stage.

As those that know my work will understand that I like to take the flashes of the camera and use a technique called Off Camera Flash. This basically involves using radio-controlled flash units and ensuring the exposure behind the subject os about 1 or 2 stops darker than the subject itself. My Godox units performed a treat as usual and my Fuji XT2's were more than up to the task. Hopefully, you will enjoy this series of Bridal Equine Photographs!
