Bowood House, Clevedon Hall, Thornbury Castle, Berwick Lodge are just a small selection of the amazing wedding venues in and around Bristol and the South West

I’ve photographed weddings in London, Liverpool, Yorkshire, Birmingham, Cornwall, North Wales, West Wales and half way up Ben Nevis on a cold and windy November day.  Moving further afield I’ve photographed weddings in Singapore, Germany, Italy, Belgium and in 2015 I was honoured enough to photograph weddings in the United States.

Morning & Bridal Prep

So during the morning bridal prep it may be natural and fun photography.  Loads of images of the details of your wedding dress etc.  Loads of photo’s of your bridesmaids avoiding my camera as they have no makeup on and loads more when you are all ready to rock the wedding day!

Ceremony Shots

Tough one this.  I’m limited by what I may be allowed to photograph; though with near silent camera shutters, quiet shoes and some good negotiation skills with registrars and vicars I can usually get the photographs you will love.

Group Photos

Let’s be honest.  When do families all get together?  Weddings!!!  So I encourage you to have group shots and family photographs.  I don’t mind in the slightest.  ‘Cos if you don’t ask for them Mums or Grans will probably ask anyway!

The Walk Around or Intimate Couple Session

Phew!  Just the three of us now (or possibly an assistant as well) and we take about 30 minutes to have a great portrait session.  Simple and elegant with no fuss.

The Wedding Breakfast

Never been asked to take photographs of people eating so I take the chance to have a break and back my camera memory cards up!

The Speeches

I’m there at the back with a zoom lens to capture the fun and laughter of the speeches.  I take a few of each person giving the speech and then concentrate on the room to get loads of photos of your guests laughing at the (hopefully clean!) jokes and anecdotes.

The Evening or Sunset Session

Again just the three of us making the most of the evening light and sunset depending on the time of the year.  Maybe another 30 minutes; but this is when we make magic together.  I love evening’s and sunsets – nearly all of my signature images are taken and made around this time.

The First Dance

I’m there capturing from the sidelines as you and your partner strut (or Waltz / Tango?) your stuff to the music you both love.

In short when I’m photographing weddings be it in Cardiff, Bristol, London, Italy the USA or anywhere else you will find me relaxed, fun and photographing the way you want your wedding photographed.

Bristol Wedding Photographers; I’m not just a ‘natural light’ wedding photographer…

As you can see my photography is a unique fusion of candid fun shots during the day with a mix of the formal group images and a spattering of semi-posed artistic wedding photographs. This fusion gives you a wide choice of wedding photographs on your wedding day and enables you to have a unique set of wedding photographs.

Wedding Photographers Bristol  – I love to use whatever light is available, and in my case, that means whatever light I’m carrying. I use natural light and artificial light combined and can achieve amazing sunset and nighttime wedding photographs for you with little effort or wasted time. I don’t believe in stopping the wedding photography just because it gets dark – and I don’t charge extra to stay until it gets dark either. I endeavour to tell the story of your wedding day as it happens through my photography and with the complimentary wedding albums included you can look back with fondness for years to come on your wedding photographs.
