This Wedding Photography Training Cardiff is NOT a chance for you to get a great looking portfolio of wedding images to show off and kick start your new wedding photography business or even kick start an existing wedding photography business.
What it IS is a chance to sit back and reflect on what you REALLY need to do to run a successful wedding photography business.
So yes, we will be looking at the (possibly boring but vital) aspects of costing your work and making a profit. IN DETAIL. Be prepared that when you come to this workshop you will be expected to work ON your business. So bring your laptops.

We WILL be looking in-depth at what equipment you have, why you have it and is it really useful in terms of your investment? 'Cos if it's not WHY did you spend your money on it and WHY do you carry it around?
We WILL be looking at COMMUNICATION techniques. Yes, I know - you may think it's boring but let me assure you being able to communicate effectively is THE non-photography thing that WILL set you apart from the rest.
We WON'T be using models. I use REAL people. With NO modelling experience. (Usually real brides & grooms). Why? 'Cos you don't get to shoot weddings with models all the time and you NEED to learn to communicate with real people in a real way. If you want to photograph drop-dead gorgeous size zero models then find another workshop.
We WILL be looking at using Off-Camera Flash photography techniques and using those tool to get some great images. We WON'T be going into a huge amount of detail (I run other workshops for this) - but just enough to give you a boost against your competition.
We WILL be looking at your workflow. Why? Because TIME IS MONEY. The quicker you edit the quicker you can get back out and shoot and earn money. You DON'T earn money from editing. (Unless you are a retoucher in which case why are on my workshops??!!)
We WILL be looking at using a variety of plugins for Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. These give your images that magic touch and make your life easier.
You WILL get a copy of all my Lightroom Presets and Photoshop Actions. Some will work for you, some may not. Some really won't work unless you buy the plugins I have anyway
