Looking for Love
Lonely but fussy & incredibly handsome wedding photographer (6ft, blue eyes, long grey hair, medium build, addicted to Jaffa cakes & sarcastic as heck) …
… wants to meet loved up couple planning a wedding for a long and lasting relationship.
Age / gender / colour / religion / pronouns / height / size / width / not as important as worshipping Jaffa Cakes, a love of Bon Jovi and crap jokes.
Must have GSOH and be up for a laugh, especially at how crap my jokes are.
Desirables would include a liking for Decaf Yorkshire Tea (so weak you can see the bottom of the mug easily. No milk. No sugar. I’m sweet enough) and a penchant for big moody skies, walks in the sun along with stunningly amazing sunset photographs.
Looking for Love – What you get in return.
Not much, my jokes are really crap. But I don’t have set time limits, don’t charge mileage to come and visit, don’t charge to stay over (see – really cheap ‘date’ or what?!) and I will give you as many pre-wedding photoshoots as we can fit as well as a fantastic wedding album and an online gallery of your totally amazing wedding photographs.
Oh, and I’ll be the best bridesmaid/groomsman you don’t buy a dress/suit for. (Just in case you did want to buy me a dress I’m a size 14 but -AAA cup so give me advance warning to bring an extra pair of socks ;-) )
If that floats your boat swipe right (or click the link).
Not loving Jaffa Cakes is a red flag for me by the way. If you don’t love Jaffa cakes swipe left.
Looking for Love – Time to Swipe…
Swipe Left
Bye Then. Missing you already.
(Still here?)
Swipe Right...
Talking is free. I don’t charge to talk about your wedding plans, to get to know you, for you to get to know me. I can have as many meetings/chats as you feel you need to give you reassurance before booking.
It’s a big decision (for all of us) and I want you to make the right decision.
Looking For Love: A Wedding Photographer’s Quixotic Quest For The Ideal Couple..
Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears! Here begins the epic chronicle of a wedding photographer extraordinaire, armed with nothing but his trusty camera, a keen eye for aesthetics, and an unwavering spirit, daringly embarking on a quest for the Holy Grail of matrimonial bliss. This humble hero, dear readers, is looking for love. Not his love, mind you, but the idyllic love of the perfect couple-to-be.
Our daring lensman, let’s call him ‘Click-Dragon’ for dramatic effect, has shot weddings from Timbuktu to Kalamazoo. But all those dreamy gazes and teary-eyed promises couldn’t satiate his craving for the pièce de résistance. Click-Dragon was looking for love of a different kind, a love that could set his camera sensor ablaze and beget a timeless masterpiece.
Click-Dragon’s ideal couple wasn’t one who merely walked down the aisle in perfect synchronization, or fed each other cake without making a mess (though he appreciated those small miracles). No, he was looking for love that transcended the ordinary. A love that could leap out of the photos and induce an audible ‘Aww’ from even the most stone-hearted of beholders.
To find this love, Click-Dragon traversed through the treacherous terrains of Bridezilla land and navigated the choppy waters of Groom’s-tuxedo-won’t-fit bay. He braved countless chicken dances, bouquet tosses gone awry, and survived the labyrinth of dietary restrictions at wedding receptions.
Why? Because our Click-Dragon was looking for love that had the power to cast a spell on anyone who dared gaze upon it. He sought a love so infectious, it would compel every onlooker to log into their forgotten dating profiles or run to the nearest jewelry store in search of an engagement ring.
On his quest, Click-Dragon came across countless couples, each professing their love to be the one he sought. But the astute photographer was not so easily fooled. He was looking for love that was more than just affectionate pecks and intertwined fingers. He wanted love that spoke volumes through comfortable silences and sparkling eyes.
There was no room for pretense or airbrushed perfection in Click-Dragon’s grand scheme. He was looking for love that was raw, real, and resplendent in its imperfection. A love that, in its candidness, told a story more mesmerizing than any Shakespearean saga.
Whether our valiant Click-Dragon will find his elusive ideal, only time will tell. But rest assured, dear reader, our hero will continue looking for love in all the right (and hilariously wrong) places, one snap at a time.
As our tale draws to a close, remember to look for love in your everyday life, and perhaps you too will discover the extraordinary in the ordinary. For as Click-Dragon’s saga reminds us, we are all photographers in the theatre of life, constantly looking for love that captures the essence of our existence. So, grab your cameras (or smartphones, no judgement here), and may the perfect shot be with you!
MORE THAN JUST A BRISTOL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER.
Bristol wedding photographers, like me, often do more than just take photographs.
I organise, arrange and craft wedding memories for weddings in and around Bristol and Somerset. I carry more non-photography related stuff in my camera bags than most would carry in a handbag…Hairspray. Brush. Hair Grips. Jaffa Cakes. Deodorant. Blister kit. Plasters. Paracetamol. Crochet hook. Unicorns. Eyelash glue. Sewing kit. Heel Protectors. Scissors. Nail file. Boob tape. Umbrellas. Emergency hygiene kit.
Why? Because the last thing you want to do on your wedding day is to worry about the little things. Let me take care of those and you concentrate on enjoying the day with your family & friends.
Oh, and did I mention I love Jaffa Cakes… and generally, have a box or two on me? ;-)
