Tintern Abbey Engagement Photography - A great day for photography - sunny but with clouds in the sky to avoid really harsh sunlight.  Perfect! Naomi and Alex are getting married later this year 2015) at the stunning St. Pierre Hotel & Country Club and as part of my wedding collection a pre wedding session is included.  This helps us get to know each other that bit more and chat about the plans for the big day.

So... what happens on these Engagement Sessions?

We agree a date and location (and as this is the UK we usually change it due to the weather!) and away we go.  I generally carry a fair amount of kit with me, and more in the car, just to be on the safe side.  After all you never know what kind of light or location you will really get until you are there.  I'm not a fan of "natural light" only photography.  You just can't get the same look and feel as the images below without using flash of some sort.  My preferred unit is made in China - Godox - and is a great bit of kit. After that it's a matter of lenses to get the best shot. I chat with my couples, make the laugh, tell them jokes, flirt outrageously in fact to get the warm natural smiles that make for amazing photographs.  Oh, and kissing.  My couples do a lot of kissing!!
